I designed a front-facing rectangular mount that securely sandwiches the hotend onto its original base. Four precision-crafted holes are included for four M3 25mm screws, fastened with M3 nuts that ensure an ultra-tight fit when screwed into place. The design features a dedicated space at the top where a secure grip on the bowden PTFE tube is maintained by screwing in a tight zip tie - a clever workaround that prevents any wiggle or filament retraction movement, thanks to the existing black locking fastener. When assembled onto Lonuf's x-gantry slider, this entire setup offers a solid as a rock feel with no sign of play. However, due to the snug fit and potential for some minor clearance between the two parts during assembly, additional spacers such as washers may be necessary.
