QUBD OneUp Gantry Belt Tensioner

QUBD OneUp Gantry Belt Tensioner

While assisting a buddy with his QUBD OneUp printer, I realized I needed to apply more tension to the gantry belt after upgrading to this redesigned gantry assembly. This attachment secures the bearing for the belt at an offset from a smaller bolt holding the bearing and washer together. To achieve varying belt tension, simply rotate the assembly, which will move the bearing further outwards. This method worked fairly well initially, but I still couldn't get the belt as tight as I wanted, so I added this inline modification. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm layer with .5 nozzle Infill: 30% Notes: I found it most effective to print with support and the washer rotated, with the off-center section facing downwards for optimal results.
