Quartzite Conglomerate Statue of Khaemwaset
sketchfab
Depicted wearing a short wig and kilt, this individual stands confidently with left foot advanced, grasping two standards firmly in hand. The right standard, now slightly damaged, was probably adorned with a representation of the Osirian triad and inscribed with the prenomen and powerful epithets of Ramses II; the left standard proudly bears the fetish of Abydos and features the nomen and impressive epithets of Ramses II. A prayer to Atum surrounds the base, imbuing the scene with a sense of spiritual significance. Prince Khaemweset, also known as Khamwese or Khaemwaset, was the fourth son of Ramesses II, born to his beloved queen Isetnofret. Khaemweset has been hailed as "the first Egyptologist" due to his tireless efforts in uncovering and restoring historic buildings, tombs, and temples. 229 stunning photographs were captured using a Canon G7x, then meticulously processed with Autodesk Remake, and finally edited to perfection on Memento Beta for Mac.
