QUARTO - Board Game
thingiverse
I discovered this awesome game a while back and I'm totally obsessed with it. More people need to know about it, trust me! Check out my design below! Here's how you can print each set with different colors (they're identical, I just created two STL files for printing purposes): The Rules There are 16 game pieces in total, and each piece shares a feature with exactly seven other pieces - tall or short, dark or light, square or round, solid top or hollow top. Objective Your goal is to get four pieces in a row of any one feature. This row can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. The Rules 1. Start by placing all the pieces off the game board (make sure the hollow pieces are facing upwards). 2. After deciding who goes first, the other player will select a piece to play and give it to the first player. 3. The first player can place the piece anywhere on the board. They then choose a piece, hand it to their opponent, and they'll play it on the board. 4. Players take turns, with each one picking a piece until someone wins or the game ends in a draw once all pieces have been played. Winning 5. You win by declaring Quarto on your turn and identifying the four pieces in a row. If a player fails to declare Quarto, their opponent can declare it and win instead. Advanced Play In advanced play, a square with four pieces sharing a feature is an acceptable way of winning the game. CREDITS TO https://dnhandcrafted.com/video/quarto/
