Summary To create designs on cylindrical objects like bottles or glassware, I needed to invent the "fourth axis" that allows me to rotate the objects instead of moving the y-axis. This new axis had to adjust to the object's length and position itself at the laser's focal distance. It also required adapting to the laser's internal space. To lower the fourth axis, I had to cut off its bottom. The necessary components include: threaded rod M8 1 meter long smooth bar 8mm 2 meters long 8 linear bearings LM8U 6 ball bearings 608ZZ M8 6 needle bearings HK0810 screws, washers, bolts M5, M8, M3 in various sizes The Longworth chuck can be found on my Thingiverse channel.
