Quarter Inch Laminate or Vinyl Plank Wall Spacer
thingiverse
These spacers will ensure you achieve the manufacturer-recommended 1/4" gap all around your floating floor. Most floors are different, but the rigid vinyl plank flooring I've researched from Home Depot and Floor & Decor specifies a 1/4" expansion gap. Designed to print without supports or infill, these spacers have walls that are 2.4mm thick, making them easily divisible by a .4mm nozzle. I printed both batches with a .4mm nozzle and an .8mm extrusion width to print the walls three passes per layer; it worked perfectly. They accommodate various plank thicknesses, and the minimum I think would work is 5.5mm, which is the thinnest thickness I saw in stores. Thicker planks will also work just fine. I printed mine in PETG because that was what I had loaded into my printer. They're just spacers, so I imagine they'd work with almost any filament. I printed eight at a time because it easily fits on my print bed. They should function similarly to these: https://www.amazon.com/Laminate-Flooring-Hardwood-Floating-Installation/dp/B07WS2LPHJ/ Check out the Amazon review pictures to get an idea of how they work.
