Quantum Trifecta Board Camera Mount
thingiverse
I picked up a board camera from Banggood and aimed to get it fitted onto my Quantum Trifecta. The mount I designed will allow that to happen smoothly. This mount utilizes the exact same mounting hole as the Mobius camera mount, making it an easy replacement for it. What results is a brand new mount for the mobius which then enables flights to be recorded using it alongside the board camera capturing FPV footage. For further customization and improvements, I've shared my Autodesk 123d design files. Take a look at the detailed video here https://youtu.be/nJImhoHwUew. Details: There are no strict instructions, but rather let me pass the buck to Shapeways - they took care of the difficult part for me! If you only intend on using your board camera and not also using your Mobius cam then all you really need is that mount. Keep in mind, however, that it will still include mounting holes spaced at 28mm, along with a single central hole with a diameter of 2mm - suitable enough to house your Mobius as well if you do plan on recording flights with both cams running simultaneously. For optimal fitting consider using a square camera board that is either 32 or 35mm in length; make the necessary checks based on what your personal preferences are. When attaching the board cam, opt for using either 2.5mm self-tapping screws or go the more professional route with M2 bolts complete with brass inserts - choose whatever one you're most comfortable working with.
