Quality Low Cost Stethoscope

While this isn't a strict remix, I wanted to give credit to the stethoscope that inspired my version. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2826304. Thingiverse strangely isn't allowing me to mark it as a remix for item "2826304". I made several design changes compared to the inspiration model. - My stethoscope has rounder edges for improved patient comfort, and easier build plate removal. - I widened the "spring" to reduce clamping pressure in the users ears. There are two models of the spring; I'd print the non-tight one first, which should be great for most people. - I redesigned the chest piece into two versions. - One is low profile with no supports. - The other adds a finger button to allow it to be easily held between fingers - Both chest pieces have rounded sound channels to reduce obstructions for better sound transfer. - I designed all connectors to be the same size, eliminating the need for two different size tubes. It uses one size tube, just like a commercial stethoscope, greatly reducing kinking of the two tubes connecting to the ear pieces. - The ear piece tubes are almost twice as wide internally for better sound transfer. Non-3D printed Parts required: - Diaphragm: 40mm diameter cut from a report cover with approx 0.35mm plastic sheet - Staples 21639 report cover (UPC 718103160223) (USD$8.84) You can cut the diaphragm by hand using my 40mm circle template, tracing inside the template with a pencil and then cutting on the line. - Earbuds: Any large-sized standard earbuds will do, but I've found that more intricate ear buds tend to kink when inserted and muffle the sound. I have added a link to what works best for me. - Silicone Earbuds 7 Pairs - Large size https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B006XGJMEK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Tubing size should be close to 3/8in (9-10mm) OD, 1/4in (6-7mm) ID. See sections below for important notes.
