As a lifelong enthusiast of Quake PC gaming, I embarked on a mission to master Solidworks and recreate the iconic Slipgate from Quake 1 in meticulous detail. This inaugural model not only marked my first foray into Solidworks, but also my first authentic 3D printed piece, aside from the pre-programmed .gcode that came bundled with my Monoprice Maker Select Plus.
