Quake, the first shooter game to use 3D models, inspired me to create a birthday present for my friend who's been a fan for years. To print this monster figurine, full support is needed throughout, and I suggest using Sketchup to export STL files; however, DXF files might not be interpreted correctly on Thingiverse. In that case, download the SKP files and use your preferred slicer software. The Quake logo3 file can be skipped if necessary due to warping issues. To add the lava detail, print it on regular paper and glue it onto the figurine using cyanoacrylate glue (e.g., Bison Seconde Lijm). I used PLA for printing and Revell model email paint for finishing touches.
