Quake 1 Prints - Player

One of my all-time favorite games, Original Quake, still captivates me with its thriving mapping and modding community. They're consistently pushing out amazing new content that surpasses the original game's maps in every way, making it a super fast and twitchy FPS experience like no other. I recently decided to print some of the game's iconic enemies, hoping to bring them to life through my painting skills. The challenge excites me, as I strive to accurately capture their unique designs. To achieve this, I used Pakscape to extract the .mdl files from the game. Then, I imported them into Blender using a Quake .mdl extension, allowing me to select the specific animation frame that caught my eye. Next, I resized and prepped the models in slic3r PE at 270% scale. For those interested in following in my footsteps, here are some resources that helped me along the way: The Pakscape guide can be found at https://valvedev.info/guide/UCfP. If you're looking for a reliable Blender .mdl importer, check out this extension: https://archive.blender.org/wiki/index.php/Extensions:2.6/Py/Scripts/Import-Export/Quake_mdl/.
