UPDATE: Heavy use has already taken its toll on the brass gears, visible in attached pictures. For optimal performance, consider upgrading to a stainless steel gear design. If you do choose this version, stock up on spare brass gears since they will inevitably wear out and require replacement. A simple trick is to swap the two brass gears to extend their lifespan before ultimately replacing them. A cost-effective 1.75mm dual drive extruder built with standard parts boasts four drive gears. Two of these gears function as synchronizers for the other two drive gears, ensuring a smooth filament flow. The secondary gear can be adjusted to fine-tune pressure on the filament. Be cautious not to let set screws interfere during assembly; shorter screws might be needed on some drive gears. Components: * 1 x Nema 17 Motor * 2 x 26-tooth drive gear * 2 x Knurled extruder gear * 2 x MR105 Bearing * 1 x 5 x 30mm Dowel Pin * 1 x Bowden Coupler * 1 x M3 Heat Set Brass Insert * M3 screws (four M3x35mm, one M3x10mm socket cap screw) For a detailed explanation of how this design differs from other dual drive bowden extruders I've recently uploaded to thrinter.com Printed in Esun Translucent Blue PETG* *Affiliate link
