** NOTICE ** This is a brand new version of my V1 at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3901036. One user asked me to create an enhanced version of my battery case. In V1.1R, the walls are 2 mm thick instead of the original 1.2 mm. Furthermore, I added chamfers and a bridge on the inside for better printability of the "roof". # ENG Because I couldn't find a secure closing compact AA accu container for taking spare accus while traveling (i.a. protected from short circuits - e.g. demanded by flight security), I decided to design this container. **The container has the capacity of 4 AA accus (d= 14.3 mm) or 4 AA batteries (d= 14 mm).** Smaller batteries or other objects with a comparable or smaller diameter and a height of not more than 51 mm will fit too. The case will probably not be waterproof without adding a flat rubber ring in the screw cap. Because it's not meant to be waterproof, I didn't add space for an O-ring - perhaps in a later version. For printing you have to add the container itself (Magazin.stl) and the screw cap (Deckel.stl) to the print bed. Here is the version for two batteries with two separate screwable tubes: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3705326 # DEU Because I couldn't find a compact and securely closing container for AA accus that I can take on travel with (i.a. protected from short circuits - e.g. demanded by flight security), I decided to develop one myself. **The container has a capacity of 4 AA accus (d= 14,3 mm) or 4 AA batteries (d= 14 mm).** Small batteries or other objects with a comparable or smaller diameter and a height of not more than 51 mm will fit too. Without adding a flat rubber ring in the screw cap, the container will probably not be waterproof. That's okay, because it shouldn't be anyway, so I didn't leave any space for an O-ring. Maybe one day. To print, place the container itself and the screw cap on the print bed.
