My attempt at designing and building a quadruped named "Hugo". This is my third version of an quadruped with 12 servos. I'll post pictures/video of it as soon as it's printed and assembled. If someone gets there first, please post it! The whole bot should weigh around 500-600g, using the MG90S Servos, which can lift about 2.5kg at 6V and should be able to lift around 600-700g. The Servo Holders are pressed-fit. * Each leg has its own (cheap) step down module * Easy access to BT module * Wiring at top for easy access * Changed from 18650 to lipo power * As little weight as possible on the structure * Easy to print as possible * Holes in boards for fixing tapes and wires ### Things to think about * Are the legs strong enough to hold weight? * Is the heat of step downs a danger for lipo? ### For a full build, you'll need the following parts: * 1x quadruped_v3_baseplate.stl * 1x quadruped_v3_topplate.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_body_spacer_v1.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_body_spacer_v2.stl * 4x quadruped_v3_leg.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_feet_v1.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_feet_v2.stl * 1x quadruped_v3_lipo_warner.stl * 12x quadruped_v3_servo_spin.stl * 2x quadruped_v3_shoulder_v2.stl **EDIT** The legs need a redesign. To build it, you'll need to bend it a bit, and ABS breaks too easily. And the legs themselves need a more stable construction.
