Quadruped Changeable size using Servo 9g
thingiverse
I'm a huge fan of quadruped robot designs, and Jason Workshop's creation on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2311678) is absolutely fantastic! I also really like Manic-3D-print's design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2317065). However, I need a quadruped robot that can be customized in terms of size, number of servos, and legs, using an Arduino Nano, Bluetooth, and a 2S LiPo battery. I decided to remix and rebuild the design, so I'm sharing all the files inside this RAR archive. The modified code is based on ez-arduino-minikame from Manic-3D-print's GitHub repository (https://github.com/manic-3dprint/ez-arduino-minikame). To assemble your quadruped robot, you'll need: 1. M3 bolts, 10mm long, in quantities of 6, 10, or more, depending on the size of your legs. 2. M2 bolts, 8mm long, for the body, requiring 8 pieces. 3. 9g servos, with 8, 12, or 16 pieces, depending on the leg size. For infill settings: 1. Use 100% infill for leg parts. 2. Set the body bottom to 75% infill. 3. Use 50% infill for the body middle and top. 4. For the head, use 30% infill. You can also repurpose the leg parts to create an arm robot! Important notes: 1. Some parts already include supports. 2. I've designed two different bodies, each using either two 18650 batteries or a single LiPo 2S 1300mAh battery.
