Quadric Surfaces Set

I'm Obsessed with Cults Exclusively!\n\nMy Quadric Surfaces Set is the best! I had this vision long before I ever got my hands on a 3D printer. Some of these prints were my very first ones, and later I took them to new heights in ways I never could have imagined. Each surface has its own story and has been used and loved in my Multivariable Calculus classes since the day they came off the press, and I'm hoping for many more years to come.\n\nThey were all designed and printed to stand at the same height, so they'd work perfectly for display during discussion in front of a classroom, and be large enough for students to get their hands on them to really feel the shapes and curves. We refer to these often throughout the course.\n\nSimplify3D featured my work in an article back in February 2019.\n\nI created this masterwork with Mathematica and printed it on my trusty MakerGear M3-ID.\n\nNote: Some of the files are rather large, since I was going for a very high resolution. I printed these way back in Spring 2017 and Summer 2018\n\nCheck out each element individually for additional photos, descriptions, and printing details. If other students or teachers give them a try, I'd love to hear about it! I'm really proud of how this project turned out.\n\n• Quadric Surfaces Set (all of the below included)\n• Parabolic Cylinder\n• Circular Paraboloid\n• Hyperbolic Paraboloid\n• Ellipsoid\n• Hyperboloid of One Sheet\n• Circular Cone\n• Hyperboloid of Two Sheets
