I've designed and printed out a functional quadrocopter that's entirely printable. With my latest redesign, this miniature drone has now got a complete, printable body of its own. After thoroughly tweaking the quadmini model, I uploaded all the necessary files to start printing it out. Weighing in at less than 10 grams, the quadrocopter's lightweight build uses ABS material, keeping its overall size impressively small. Powered by the innards from a crashed chinook S026 helicopter, which just so happens to be my personal favorite aircraft type, I'm pretty stoked on the results. So excited, in fact, that I've ordered two more chinook S026 components online and I'm absolutely loving every second of it.
