Quadcopter (W-copter)
thingiverse
This is my Quadcopter (W-copter) project. I've uploaded my quadcopter .stl files and some photos of the build process. For added strength, it's crucial to print the arms horizontally instead of vertically. I sourced all the parts from China: motors, ESCs, propellers, a 2.1.5 flight controller, batteries, a battery charger, bullet connectors, a transmitter, and a receiver. Print Settings: Printer: K8400 Vertex Rafts: No Raft Required Supports: Yes Notes: * Body frame: print at 0.2mm layer height with 80% infill using PLA at 210°C. * Shell: print at 0.2mm layer height with 100% infill using PLA at 200°C. * Rest of the parts: print at 0.2mm layer height with 35% infill using PLA at 210°C. Keep in mind that you can print most components without support, but the frame inside the drone requires supports due to large bridges. Estimated print time is around 40 hours. I hope you find this project enjoyable!
