Quadcopter V4
thingiverse
This is my fourth quadcopter design, featuring metal arms for strength while utilizing 3D printed motor mounts, propeller cages, battery and camera mounts, and landing gear. The spring-loaded landing gear provides softer landings, and the propeller cage acts as an indoor flying marker with crash protection capabilities. Designed to use DT-750 motors and a KK (or other square mounting hole pattern) board, this quadcopter's dimensions measure approximately 29 inches from one end of the cage to the other, with a front bottom center piece for easy attachment of additional items like cameras or sensors. The printer setup requires KISSlicer settings: 20% rounded infill and 2 perimeter layer height for propeller cages, 25% infill for center boards, and 20% infill for landing gear. Necessary hardware includes 8-32 screws of various lengths, and a CAD model of the arm is provided for machining. After assembly, enjoy your new quadcopter!
