Construct an aluminum quadcopter (Xcopter) using rods from Hornbach and 3D-printed components made with an Ultimaker printer. Watch the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu84HYedfnI for more details. To build this copter, purchase 13x8mm aluminum rods from Hornbach, acquire an empty CD box and print a disc twice, four prop savers, guards, and eight landing feet (with extra spares). Buy motors, props, and a controller from Hobbyking and patiently wait for delivery. After assembling the copter with drilling and bolting, practice flying, anticipate crashes, and print replacement parts as needed while enjoying your quadcopter experience. Don't forget to check out the video for further guidance.
