Revamped quadcopter design unveiled, featuring modular assembly and asymmetric front/back layout. Designed from scratch for hobby flying or FPV use, this quad boasts easy orientation determination during flight and reduced camera obstruction by its spread front arms. The creator emphasizes the importance of choosing between 3mm and 5mm holes for attaching the quad, while highlighting the asymmetric design's features. To keep it modular, the quad is compatible with 'Crossfire' quadcopter arms (thing:32281) but includes lighter, custom-designed arms weighing approximately 31g per arm. The top plate accommodates KK2.0/2.1 flight controller boards and offers protection against ground impacts. Printable in ABS for a less brittle structure, this quad's parts are designed to fit within the small build volume of the rep2x printer. Users are encouraged to share their printing experiences and feedback for improvements. Note that 'standard gopro mount' part requires supports during printing. Two versions of the quad, with either 3mm or 5mm holes, are available for download. Suggested infill and shell settings are provided for optimal strength.
