Javier Betancor and María Ester Santana collaborated in a project that resulted in a Quadcopter Optimized Frame weighing only 20g, well within the maximum required weight. The Generate software (https://generate-de.frustum.com/#/workspace/1217/scenario/3474) was employed for optimization. Assuming motor thrust of 1.17N per motor and a total load of 3.57 N, the base of the quadrotor was targeted for improvement. The optimal placement of components includes battery inside the frame, electronics on top, payload under the battery attached with velcro, and four ESCs distributed on top of each arm.
