Quadcopter, kwad or miniquad backpackholder - velcro

thingiverse

This device is designed to be a convenient accessory for carrying quads, specifically tailored to fit "hard shell" style backpacks. It has been thoroughly tested and functions flawlessly in such a setup. Eight holes are provided for added stability when carrying heavy loads, although only four screws are required for standard quad transportation. Each component, including the front and back plates, measures 0.4 cm or 40 mm in thickness, allowing users to gauge the necessary screw length accordingly. The M3 holes are precisely 3mm wide. The design is versatile and can be printed using any material, although PETG/PLA combinations work particularly well due to their tolerance levels. Printing parameters include a resolution of 0.2mm with 10% infill, four outside perimeters, and an additional four for both the top and bottom layers. Users are encouraged to experiment with different perimeter settings. The recommended nozzle size is 0.4 mm, which meets standard requirements. When installing the device, users should place a velcro strap in position before attaching it to their backpack. By popular demand, the back plate has been added as an optional feature. To avoid accidental cuts from metal edges when accessing items inside the backpack, consider applying heat-shrink material to the bolts or screws on the interior side.
