This design is extremely rigid, making it perfect for PLA prints, but even better suited for ABS materials. However, its high-speed crashworthiness remains untested. The arms are capable of accommodating 1306 motors with ease. A small ESC like the DYS XSD20A can fit snugly inside the arm tube. Meanwhile, the Diatone LED board fits seamlessly into the arm's square recess. To assemble this drone, you'll need some standoffs - specifically 12 x 25mm and 2 x 35mm sizes - and ensure that your PLA pieces are drilled to match the standoff diameter, whether round or hexagonal. The top and bottom plates feature small protruding pins to guide drilling for screw holes. Drilling these holes is more precise than relying on printed ones. With a 4S-1550mah LiPo battery, this drone has been successfully tested, yielding an impressive flight time of seven minutes.
