Quadcopter Cyclops 65mm
thingiverse
I'm attempting to create a brushless version of a quadcopter the size of a Tiny Whoop, no more than 65mm in diameter. I do not intend to print this design as-is. My concern is that the printed parts may be too heavy for their intended use. Moreover, there is currently no propeller protection available. However, I still believe it's worth exploring further. To assemble this quadcopter, you will need the following components: * A 1103 brushless motor with a similar specification to the one found on Banggood, part number SA1103-Lite, which comes in various KV options including 6000KV, 8000KV, and 10000KV. This motor is compatible with 2-3S batteries. * A flight controller with 16x16mm mounting holes similar to the TinyFish F3 from ReadyToFlyQuads, which features a built-in 8-channel SBus receiver for FrSky protocols. * An ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) designed specifically for quadcopters, such as those found on FuriousFPV, part number 491. This component is also 16x16mm in size and is compatible with the specified motors. * A high-resolution camera like the RunCam Micro Swift 2 from Banggood, which boasts a 600TVL resolution and features built-in OSD (On-Screen Display) for real-time data monitoring during flights. * A video transmitter capable of transmitting signals at frequencies up to 48MHz, such as the RunCam TX200 from Banggood. This transmitter is designed for use with small FPV systems like those intended for NanoMicroSparrowMicroSwift2 configurations and offers a maximum power output of 25,200mW. * A 2S battery with a capacity of at least 400mAh, such as the Tiger Power 7-4V 450mAh 60C Lipo Battery found on AliExpress. This battery is designed for use in high-performance RC applications and features a JST plug for easy connection to your quadcopter's ESC. * A set of propellers with a diameter of 43mm, such as those found on AliExpress under the product number 1735-43mm. These propellers are designed for use in small quadcopters like the one described here and offer high-performance flight capabilities. For assembly guidance, I recommend watching the instructional video on YouTube titled "Assembly Cyclope 65mm" (maLXxcBeb8E).
