The cross brace in this quadcopter project, designed alongside a friend, features 3/8" diameter carbon fiber tubing from eBay. Set screws secure the tubing for stability while the center opening facilitates motor wire threading. The octagonal shape allows external mounting of ESCs. Designed for easy printing on a MakerBot, feedback and improvement suggestions are welcomed (current version is Ver4).
