Quadcopter Boom
thingiverse
I redesigned a quadcopter boom for my mQX drone as the original broke during use. Initially, I tried to mimic the factory design, but printing quality was poor and durability was low. This revised version rectifies some issues, though it's snug around bearings and motor. Use acetone to soften fit (which causes whitening). It performs well; in fact, I replaced all booms with this model. Further improvements are on the horizon for better print quality, but it's functional now.
