Quad TC-R Motor and Arm Protector - The Dwarf

This is my final version from my previous arm protector, a major upgrade that provides even more protection for both motors and arms' edges during crashes. The design is more compact and lighter, with additional space between the wall and motor for improved airflow. Gone are the sharp corners - most of the edges are now rounded, resulting in a smoother finish even when printed at 20% infill on PETG. This upgrade handles crashes better than ever before. For optimal results, consider using a flexible filament like ninjaflex or nylon. I've included some valuable tips for printing with ninjaflex below: Print Settings Printer: Ooznest Prusa i3 Rafts: No rafts are needed for this design Supports: Supports are not required for this print Resolution: Set the resolution to .24mm for precise details Infill: Use infill settings of 35% or less for optimal results, as higher infill percentages can cause issues with flexible filaments like ninjaflex. Notes: This arm protector was printed using ninjaflex for the first time, and I must say it was a challenging experience until I finally got my printer setup correctly. The filament kept bulking up, but after an operation on my bulldog lite extruder and adding a stiff straw to the extruder feeding gear, the issues disappeared. Ninjaflex requires consistency in printing settings - I achieved the best results when all speeds and widths were the same for every part of the process. For bridging and printing this design, supports are not necessary, but I found that increasing the infill to 35% or higher made it stiffer and more durable. I also had to increase retraction to 4mm compared to .97 while printing on PETG, and further fine-tuning may be required.
