Quad lock dashboard adapter for BMW K1600

When I bought my K1600GTL, I deliberately bypassed the rebranded Garmin GPS that came with it. Instead, I use my iPhone and the Rever app for navigation, opting for a clean slate to mount my phone or any other accessory I might want to use. To achieve this, I designed a custom replacement for the factory blank that covers the GPS mount, complete with a 25MM ball compatible with the RAM mount system. I also created an adapter for the Quad Lock side, which features the same 25MM ball (it's worth noting that Quad Lock now offers this adapter themselves). For a sturdy and reliable mounting solution, I developed a bracket that attaches to the plate from the rear using three 3MM sheet metal screws. Printed in NylonX with four shells and 40% infill for added strength, this design has performed flawlessly for me so far. I've since created a second iteration of the mount, which incorporates a dedicated spot for a USB adapter I picked up on eBay - allowing me to power devices using a short USB cable. After putting this system through its paces, I'm thoroughly pleased with its performance. If you have any suggestions or ideas, feel free to share them as always.
