Quad HDD dock 3.5"
thingiverse
Why Simplify Erasing Harddrives with Ease I created this to streamline erasing multiple harddrives using internal PC connections for faster results and full SATA command transparency, unlike USB docks. It's designed to sit on top of a PC case, provided your PSU and SATA cables allow it. The design is tailored to fit Dell power and SATA connectors perfectly but should work with other brands as well. The connector housing is modular and easily replaceable to accommodate specific connectors. This design targets 3.5" harddrives but can also fit 2.5" drives if a small spacer is created. Key Features * Designed for minimal filament usage * Printable without supports, even with long overhangs * Modular: Swap out the connector housing easily * Fits 3.5" drives or 2.5" drives with an adapter of your own making Instructions * Scale it up or down to get a precise fit * A .25mm layer height is sufficient Open Source Design The original design file, including fusion360 and STEP formats, is included for modification or learning purposes.
