The "Oval Gears" invention by Billion inspired an expansion of the model, requiring four gears to fit in place. This unique design change necessitates a linkage that flexes from square to parallelogram during rotation. Interestingly, all elliptical gears used are identical and function due to their odd number of teeth. To build this model, prepare materials such as 8 washers, 4 linkages, and 4 gears. Ensure the hole sizes match your chosen dowel axles (5mm in this case), and glue washers onto the ends of the axles for assembly.
