This is a motor mount specifically crafted for pairing with a square tube arm. It provides multiple mounting holes for the motor and reach arm alike, plus a recess designed to safeguard wires coming out of the motor (originally conceived with bell-style motors in mind). Engineered to yield failure when a crash eventuates, it allows quad parts of higher expense to be preserved; every test has validated this approach, with the mounts succumbing exactly as required.
