Quacks of Quedlinburg Organizer Tray
thingiverse
Quacks of Quedlinburg is a standout among board games for its excellence and infuriating disorganization. During setup, players must find ample space on the table to scatter the books and ingredients. As gameplay unfolds, it can be challenging to spot and retrieve the necessary values from the piles. Afterward, the task of collecting all the piles and reorganizing them into their respective bags is a daunting one, akin to training for an evidence room organization specialist, albeit with more frustration. However, luck has it that you can now print out these trays, which will revolutionize your Quacks experience. Key features include: - A slide-on lid that snaps into place for secure storage. - The inside of the trays boasts a sloped edge at the front, making it effortless to retrieve components from the tray. - Trays feature a slot on the back where you can drop in books and ingredients for easy reference. - The bottom of the trays has a ridge that allows stacking, an optional feature. A flat version is also available for those who prefer not to stack their trays. Variety abounds with single, double, and triple bay trays catering to diverse preferences. Themed to resemble wooden crates, these trays will seamlessly integrate into your Quacks setup, especially if you have a brown or earthy color scheme. The trays are precision-crafted to fit neatly on one side of the box without requiring removal of the insert. If you're planning to expand your collection, rest assured that all you need is another printed tray, as there's ample space in the box for it. Guide: - If a file has "NoSlot" in its name, it won't feature the slot cut out for book markers. - Files with "Stack" in their name will print with a ridge along the bottom for easy stacking on other boxes. - Files labeled "Flat" will produce trays without a ridge, making them less stackable. I've had the pleasure of playing Quacks with these trays and have a few suggestions to share: - Distribute setup objects and starting materials by color into their own bags. This simplifies cleanup and accelerates setup time. - All bags are black, making it difficult to identify which color is inside without rummaging through them. A simple solution is to use beads of the corresponding color, untie the strings, place the beads inside, then re-tie the strings. - The books in the trays serve as a makeshift backboard for tossing ingredients back into their respective trays. If you're a Quacks enthusiast or planning to acquire it, do yourself a favor by printing out these trays. You'll be rewarded with a frustration-free gaming experience. Edit: Two bay trays have been added, along with flat versions that don't stack and a plain lid in clear for easy box inspection before removing the lid. Edit: Copies of all trays without slots are now available. Edit: The excess files have been parsed out, and the long-awaited Geekbits versions are ready. Unfortunately, there's no Geekbits One Tray available yet, but the existing one-tray version should suffice. Please let me know if it doesn't meet your expectations.
