Qu4druped quadpod
thingiverse
This is a printable quadpod/quadruped robot utilizing super cheap SG90 9G servos. The base already features four fixing holes for Arduino Mega/Due. A plastic coupler is included for every servo, ensuring enhanced stability during rotation. To create this robot, you will need to print the following components: two normal legs, two mirrored legs, one base, and twelve couplers (with or without support). Supports are only required for the leg tips. In my case, I used an Arduino Due with a USB Host Shield to utilize a 3D mouse space navigator wireless as a controller, despite knowing that the Arduino Due has an embedded USB host library, which did not function with the USB dongle for the wireless space navigator. The robot's power is supplied by a 1000mAh 2-cell lithium battery and a 5V 5A regulator for the servos. EDIT: The Arduino code is now available (.rar file with sources). Print Settings Printer: Santelprint Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 20 Notes: Support are needed only for the legs tips. Two versions of the coupler have been uploaded, one without support and another with a support that prints well and is easy to detach.
