I ordered the QU-BD Two-Up printer and it didn't come with the necessary X/Y axis timing pulleys, which are part QQ - 12-HTD3-05. These crucial parts weren't included, leaving me with a decision on what to do while I waited three weeks for them to be shipped. I figured that making a temporary replacement could resolve this problem temporarily until my order arrives. Using Droftart's SCAD file timing gear generator found at thingiverse.com/thing:16627 as inspiration, I began working on modifying it to suit my needs. The modifications included adding a key so it could be locked into place securely around the spindle shaft. My first attempt uploaded online used bolts for securing against the shaft, but there were some issues during assembly with the Two-Up system. This was why I decided to use a keyed shaft and then glued it firmly in place on the motor spindle. After adding these features, my modifications worked smoothly, keeping up with the performance of the original parts flawlessly without any play or slack.
