QU-BD One/TwoUp Extruder V11 with video
thingiverse
As a replacement extruder for QU-BD One/TwoUp printer, this text spinner features wooden parts replacement and securely holds the hot end. It can be used in two ways - either using the body and lever with original screws, spring, and bearing to replace the MDF extruder or adding a cooling fan to attach to the extruder for enhanced motor and print cooling (requires firmware update). The upgraded features include easier filament release and engagement, sturdier construction, integrated fan, additional fourth screw support, printable replacement options, and OpenSCAD parametric design. This text spinner underwent several updates to enhance lever strength, vent placement and alignment, improved airflow, and gluing options. The assembly process involves attaching the lever, installing the motor, attaching the body halves, adding optional fan vents, and mounting the extruder using printed or wooden components. Optional fan cooling requires firmware upgrades and additional hardware.
