The original design didn't allow for the extruder tip to get close enough to the bed, so an adapter plate was created. This plate is designed to mount a QU-BD extruder onto the X carriage of a Prusa i3 Einstein Variant rework. To attach it to the X carriage, use 3mm socket cap screws with recessed heads. The design file for the X carriage can be found by J. Prusa, and this thing was made using Tinkercad.
