QRP Labs QCX case

This is my attempt at a case for the excellent QRP Labs QCX transceiver, and I'm new to this so maybe you can improve on the design. The design criteria was to case a QCX that had been built to the manual with controls all mounted on the board. I didn't want to be constrained by a square box and shaft extensions. The only concession is two extensions for the tact switches. An optional print is a shim to convert the supplied pot to be suitable for a grub screw. I found the shaft tended to deform and make the control eccentric. The gain control recess prints badly on my printer. I use some heavy weight supports here but still get a rough surface that needs some finishing. Tips welcome! Screws are M3 x 20mm (6 off). Currently these self tap into the top case parts. A better solution would be to use brass inserts. A word of warning! Due to the nature of the QCX layout, everything is very tight with virtually no tolerance in places. Keep all components close to the board - in particular the hairpin resistors should be bent as close as possible to the resistor body to save height. Having said that, mine fitted without a problem. I've added a short case version - Draft. I haven't printed this yet! I've added V2 top front. This version prints great for me with 20% grid support. Based on much good forum feedback. Thanks guys 11/12/2017 I've added G8MXV version with Lipo battery - see text file in zip for change details. 19/12/2017 I've removed 'short' case DRAFT files. These were causing problems with some slicers due to multiple meshes. Sorry! I've added new short case files. These have been printed successfully. Please replace previous draft files in your downloads. 31/12/2017 I've replaced pot shim STL - fixed multiple mesh error. 08/01/2018 I've replaced original case version with V2 files to fix multiple mesh error. 28/01/2018 I've added QCX tactV2. Multiple meshes fixed. 08/02/2018 Alternative front with shaft extensions published at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2784172
