QRP Antenna Components
thingiverse
Requires four M3x10 countersunk machine screws to secure the lid in place. Designed to accommodate one 50 ohm BNC panel mount connector and two 7 mm thread binding post terminals. Two distinct feedpoint box designs are included. The first is tailored for a standard doublet configuration, featuring binding posts on each short end of the box and the BNC connector situated between them on a long end. In contrast, the second design is optimized for vertical antennas with counterpoise setups, where one binding post resides on a short end while the other is positioned on an adjacent long end. The BNC connector is strategically located on the opposite short end, ensuring that the vertical element directly above it and the counterpoise exit to the side. Ample space within the box allows for the placement of a small toroid core (T50 or smaller) if a transformer is needed. Notably, the same lid fits either design. An end insulator design is also included, featuring holes for cable ties to securely fasten wires and ropes in place. A reference photo provides insight into its effective application.
