are you looking for a fun and visually appealing way do display qr codes? well, look no further! this is my very own qr code display / sign. you can make it stand up right with the stand or hang it up on your fridge or wall with the help of a 12 x 12mm magnet that perfectly fits in the back. before printing all the parts make sure to: !!! print the tolerance test and tweak your slicers settings to achieve a perfect fit !!! it should have a tight fit, but not too tight. QR CODE TUTORIAL in cura: 1. go to a qr code generating website ( i used https://www.qrcode-monkey.com ) and generate your qr code, then download the qr code as PNG 2. download and import the "qr code base" model in cura. set walls top/bottom layers and infill% to 0 3. import the qr code png in cura, set width and depth to 55mm and select "lighter is higher" 4. set mesh type of qr code to "modify settings for overlap" and select "cutting mesh". right below that press on the "select settings" button and select: wall line count, top layers, bottom layers and infill%" use your prefered values for those, i went with 2 walls 4 top/bottom layers and 15%infill 5. select the qr code and go to the scale setting. disable "uniform scaling" and set the z height to 900% or about 26mm 6. make sure both the qr code and the base are centered, then slice the model. if the qr code isn't fully visible adjust the size of the qr code model. 7. Printing: start the print with black filament and for the last couple of layers switch to white filament. 8. enjoy your qr code, and if you have any questions or better ways to print a custom qr code, feel free to put that in the comments same works for the logo btw :)
