I'm excited to share my latest project with you - a custom Runcam Split holder designed specifically for my qqx130 (a 130-sized qavr drone). This innovative solution mounts on top of the carbon top plate, providing exceptional stability and support. To ensure optimal rigidity, I utilized two 25mm standoffs that help maintain a level surface. The camera is positioned at a precise 40-degree angle, allowing for crystal-clear footage from even the most challenging angles. After conducting an initial test with the first version of this holder, I discovered that the sides were visible in the Runcam Split's field of view. Undeterred by this setback, I swiftly uploaded an updated design to prevent this issue from occurring in the future. Although further testing is still needed, I'm confident that this revised model will deliver outstanding results and provide a seamless viewing experience for drone enthusiasts everywhere.
