QQ-S Pro Fan-duct system
prusaprinters
A new, much improved version is made: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5216125 I tried a different fan-duct-holder, but it was hard to print without supports, so I figured out I could try to make one myself, that simplifies life a bit. Criterias: -No supports -Fast and easy to print -Easy to use. -Cools efficiently. And I think I have met those criteria. I have printed a 75deg overhang-test, and it actually looks OK (which is better than most other fan-ducts I have tried. (Printed at 60mm/s, 0.2mm layer-height) I will probably add a few more duct-designs, as this first is not perfectly symmetrical on the nozzle. You will need to remove the three screws holding the hot-end and ABL-brace to the effector. The fan-duct-holder should fit nicely under the ABL-brace, and the spacers should fit as well. Printing the ducts from PLA should work well, as long as you print with PLA. Higher temperatures and less fan will probably require PETG or ABS. Print the ducts standing on the flat end (obviously) The V2-version is marginally better than the V1-version, and has a narrower hole that is also more symmetrical to the nozzle.
