Because of its offset placement, the Qoocam's base barely touches a standard tripod head, causing it to wobble around significantly due to its unusual center of gravity. The stabilizer is straightforward - it wraps around the camera's base and transfers the weight onto a larger platform that sits more centrally on a tripod. I've confirmed that this extra support doesn't obstruct VR180 shots. I've also included a compact hotshoe mount for attaching a spirit level, perfect for use with tripods lacking one.
