Qidi XPro Front Gap Plug
thingiverse
These two solutions prevent tiny screws and filament fragments from dropping through the front gap between the Qidi Xpro build cavity's front panel and floor. I dislike it when screws fall through there because the circuit board is mounted directly beneath the gap. I discovered that printing the rails was a bit challenging due to bed adhesion on their thin profiles. Therefore, make sure to apply adhesion all the way to your build plate's edges as these pieces are quite lengthy. Additionally, I placed a strip of sticky kitchen drawer liner under the plastic components to prevent them from shifting around. They function reasonably well. I originally designed them to stop extruder screws from falling into the gap, but have since learned that they effectively catch filament fragments as well.
