QIDI X-Plus X-Max Z-Limit Switch Mount

About

This is a remix of Funkton's excellent Z-Limit Switch Mount. I found that the cheap original steel plates holding the limit switches had an uneven mounting height and weren't even close to be angled at 90 degrees, I will attach a picture so you can see for yourself.

I printed and mounted Funkton's model which unfortunately were too short for my printer so the bed could not reach the limit switches, I did not want to bend the limit arms too much although that probably would have worked too.

This remix is 2 mm taller and close to the original height so you don't have to make any adjustments to the printer firmware, just unscrew the four screws and replace the steel brackets with your printed ones and insert the limit switches. Print one left and one right. Step file is available if you want to make any changes.

Be sure level the bed afterwards.

Print Settings

Printer:

QIDI Tech X-Max

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.15 mm

Infill:

30 %

Filament: Prusament PC Blend Orange

Notes:

I printed mine in Polycarbonate but PETG, ABS, ASA will be fine as well.

Remixed from:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4673137
