This Qidi fan duct is a remix of humebeam's Gripen 1.4 fan duct. I was using his creation for several weeks with no issues. But then one day i looked and saw that the output side was warping and hanging a little lower than the bottom plane. So I printed another one and I removed the old one. I then noticed that it had a sharp dent from the top side which pushed the bottom plain down a little. Then i realized the silicone boot i was using was just slightly thick and was pushing the top side of the duct. So I re-designed the Gripen and moved the openings on one side out farther. Plus moving the openings away from the block allows the air to travel below the heater block to cool the part as oppose to the air hitting the block and bouncing most of the air away. At the same time I placed a couple of boss for the screws so that it sit against the heat inserts. The original screws barely grabbed onto those inserts with the original Gripen design. Now with the modification the screws grab pretty well.
