Qidi X-Plus Camera Mount for TP-Link Spot WiFi Camera
thingiverse
A dual-mount WiFi camera mount for the Qidi X-Plus printer. It sits on top of the printer and doesn't interfere with the front door or the top cover (top cover if using the top camera mount). The mount can hold either (or both) a camera straight out (as in the photos) or on the top. I opted for TP-Link Spot camera because of it's higher resolution and it's mounting options. I used 3M "Multi Purpose Fasteners" (aka new style hook and loop velcro) to mount the mount to the printer chassis. I did not include any cable-routing on the mount itself (I waffled on that) because I didn't want to complicate the print any more than it already was. I included, though, clip-on cord clips if you want to print them. Post Print: I used a utility blade to give a slight gentle bevel to the round mounting points where the camera will push in (to ease the insertion). Note: I know it isn't very "pretty". I could've rounded corners and beveled everywhere but I was going for utilitarian design. It works - that's all I needed.
