Qidi X-one2 X-axis Stop
thingiverse
The Qidi X-One2 comes equipped with a sleek black plastic shroud that serves as the print head's crowning glory, sitting atop it with finesse. This innovative feature boasts two primary functions: firstly, it acts as a steadfast stop for the X-axis, ensuring precise control and accuracy in every print; secondly, it securely holds one end of the bowden tube, expertly guiding the filament throughout the printing process. I designed this particular part to seamlessly integrate with the X-One2's X-axis stop, boasting an offset that perfectly mirrors the original shroud's offset. This clever design ensures that prints are always centered on the build plate with precision and accuracy. In a thrilling discovery, I found that a road bicycle brake cable adjuster makes for a perfect filament guide. On my own X-One2 setup, I feature an alloy extruder feed, which perfectly accommodates the cable adjuster's threads. The one showcased is from a Shimano road caliper, boasting M6x1.0 threads that provide a snug and secure fit.
