QIDI X-One Lexan Covers
thingiverse
I've designed a simple solution for covering metal-sided printers like the X-One. Using 3/32 Lexan and some magnets, I created protective covers that can be easily attached to the case. These materials were all sourced from Home Depot. To secure the magnets to the Lexan, I applied CA glue carefully, resulting in a strong hold. This setup effectively keeps sound and heat inside the printer. To create these covers, I cut two sheets of Lexan into 9/18 square pieces for the sides and one sheet to fit my desired front panel size. All panels were attached to the exterior of the printer for effortless removal.
