Revised extruder frame for the X-One. If you're reading this, you already know that the stock cover/cage is a tank, but it serves a few crucial functions - securing the filament feed tube and housing the X axis end stop. The main improvement is a significant weight reduction of 15g compared to the original 200g. Your stepper motors and X axis assembly will greatly appreciate this. You'll also gain an additional 10mm of X-axis build area, expanding it from 140mm to 150mm. Overall cooling has been improved, allowing you to access the extruder assembly without removing the cage. Additionally, you can now view your filament during loading and unloading. V2 - Centered filament tube guide, larger frame joints, and cable tie bar Print Settings Printer: Qidi Tech X-One Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .20 Infill: 25 Notes: I printed with PLA, which has held up well so far. However, I may try ABS later for added durability. The frame should fit snugly over the heat bar. A zip tie loop on the back secures the wire loom, so be sure to use it. The filament tube socket assembly can be used with or without the nut. Mine threaded in pretty tightly, but I decided to use the nut for extra security. Post-Printing
